About Polonia Open
The original tournament was organized by a group of Polish-American sports fans associated with the Riverdale Tennis of New York and the Polish American Golf Association (PAGA). Initially, it was primarily a tennis event, bringing together famous players. The accompanying golf games played an increasingly important role to gain equal status after two years. In 2004, the golf tournament – organized by the current PAGA president Paweł Gąsior, gathered 120 players, optimal for organizational reasons.

7:00 AM First round of the tournament – South Course (Green Tees) – 1st Tee (tee times).

March 14th (Thursday)
7:35 AM Second round of the tournament – Island Course (White Tees) 1st Tee & 10th Tee (tee times)

7:15 AM Final round of the tournament – Copperhead Course (White Tees) 1st Tee & 10th Tee (tee times) – Lunch Boxes will be provided during the round on the course – official scoring after the round.

7:00 PM Closing Awards Ceremony Banquet – Dinner Buffet – Toscana Room. Bar opens at 7:00pm followed by dinner at 8:00pm.
March 16th (Saturday)
9:30 AM TPC Tampa Bay – Chicago v. Rest of the World format – another edition of this great tournament, played always after the Polonia Open. Please text your registration to the phone number: +1-708-516-2222.

- Player $1,300 (after 12/28/2023 $1,400)
- Player with a non-playing guest $1,850 (after 12/28/2023 $1,950)

Practice Rounds Reservation
The organizers of Polonia Open have negotiated special prices for Practice Rounds before the tournament on all 3 Courses where the tournament will be played including the Copperhead Course –Home to the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship. Rounds should be booked by calling the club directly at 727-942-5220 and ask for Tee Time for Polonia Open Practice Rounds.
The practice round golf fees will be offered as follows (March 2024 pricing):
South Course: $110 + 7% tax
Island Course: $160 + 7% tax
Copperhead Course: $200 + 7% tax
Adrian Meronk Meets Polonia Open participants @PGA 2023 Honda Classic
Guests and players of the Polonia Open by Żywiec tournament had the opportunity to visit the 2023 PGA Honda Classic tournament where our compatriot Adrian Meronk took part in it for the first time ever. He finished the tournament with a great result tied for14th place. We had the opportunity to meet him after final round and he gave us couple of golf gadgets with his autograph, which were raffled off at the final dinner and awards ceremony of this year’s Polonia Open by Żywiec. Thank you very much and we keep our fingers crossed for good results on the next PGA Tour tournaments (Dell Technologies Match Play, The Masters, PGA Championship etc).

20 years ago a young and … slim man from Manhattan informed our golf association in Warsaw that Poles are playing golf after the Great Water. And that I would support this idea. I signed a little agreement with my soul on my shoulder. And in this way Warsaw with its patronage added a brick to the most important golf idea among the countrymen in the world.

I have been associated with the Polonia Open tournament almost from the beginning. I was always impressed with his momentum. I once talked to one of the managers of the field where the tournament was taking place. He was amazed. Something like that has never been with them – more than 150 golfers in shirts of equal national colors shocked him and other club members.
